You will have to login to Google Adwords. The Planner is NOT an external tool, like the keyword tool used to be.

But with a little bit of work you will be able to use the Keyword Planner where you used to use the Keyword Tool.
There has always been a problem with the Keyword Research using the Keyword Tool, and this problem exists with the Keyword Planner as well.
That problem is a big one too!
The Problem is competition. You see, the Keyword Tool, and now the Keyword Planner, is going to show you the same keywords that it shows 10,000 other people.
Suddenly what looked like a good keyword, is now too popular to rank for.
